Students in India, especially, do not have access to the right guidance to understand their aptitude. There is a blind race of following seniors, family members or idols. Most of the times parents and students both are not equipped with the neccessary information. The teachers too are not updated enough about the available career choices. Therefore, it becomes mandatory to have someone who has the ability to guide the students to choose their career in the most beneficial way. This is where career counselling comes in. A counsellor can provide a more focused and strategic approach to students and help narrow down the options and direct the students in a more focused manner to choose the best career path.
